Terms of Service

Last updated: September 10, 2026

These terms govern your use of SociOps, including accounts, acceptable use, AI-generated content, and connected publishing platforms.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using SociOps at sociops.com you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company.

2. Who you are contracting with

SociOps is operated by SociOps (operated by [Owner Legal Name] — sole proprietorship, legal name pending). References to “we”, “us”, and “our” throughout these terms mean that operator.

3. The service

SociOps is an AI content studio for planning, generating, reviewing, and publishing blog posts, images, video, and social media content. Features, limits, and models may change as the product evolves.

4. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You may sign in with email and password or with Google, Apple, or Meta. Removing a sign-in method does not delete your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Guest sessions and account conversion

You can try Studio without an account using a temporary guest session. Guest work is not guaranteed to persist and may be removed automatically. When you create an account or sign in from that session, we attempt to move the session’s content onto your account.

6. Plans, approval, and access levels

Some areas of the product require review or approval before access is granted, and some features are limited by plan, quota, or workspace permissions. We may adjust limits to keep the service stable and to control generation costs.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Break the law, or infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Create or distribute spam, malware, harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or content that deceives about its origin.
  • Impersonate a person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Violate the rules of any connected social platform, or automate activity in a way those platforms prohibit.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent quotas, security, or access controls.
  • Upload personal data of others without a lawful basis.

8. Your content and ownership

You keep ownership of the material you upload and, as between you and us, of the outputs you generate. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit that material so we can operate the service — including sending it to the AI and publishing providers needed to fulfil your request. You are responsible for having the rights to the material you provide.

9. AI-generated content

AI output can be inaccurate, biased, outdated, or similar to content generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing output before you publish it.

  • We do not guarantee accuracy, originality, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Verify facts, figures, claims, and any regulated or professional advice before use.
  • Copyright protection for AI-generated material differs by country; we make no representation about it.

10. Third-party platforms and connected accounts

When you connect a social platform, your use of that platform remains governed by its own terms. We act on your instruction to publish or schedule content, but we do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their availability, review decisions, rate limits, or account actions.

11. Our intellectual property

The service, its software, design, and brand assets belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy the product.

12. Fees, billing, and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paid plans are billed in advance for the stated period (monthly or annually), in the amount and currency shown at checkout before you confirm the purchase. We may change pricing with notice; changes take effect at the start of your next billing period. You are responsible for applicable taxes, which Paddle collects and remits as Merchant of Record.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from Billing settings; it remains active until the end of the period already paid for. See our Refund Policy for the 14-day money-back guarantee, how consumed credits are treated, and the 12-month expiry on prepaid top-up credit packs.

13. Availability, changes, and beta features

We aim for a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features. Features labelled beta or experimental may be unstable and can be withdrawn at any time.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion at any time, as described in the data deletion section of the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the service and its users. We will act proportionately and, where practical, give notice.

15. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts located in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the product or by email. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
